1995. Flora is a trolleybus driver, alone raising three sons from different marriages, completely different characters. They live modestly, but are quite friendly.

The mother is not aware that the eldest son Peter has followed in his father’s footsteps and got involved with gangsters who have almost the whole city under their control and are not afraid to go to extreme measures. At the same time he secretly goes and practises opera singing.

His brother Yura paints pictures and is also friends with a policeman who is trying to find evidence and imprison all the members of the criminal group in which Peter is a member.

The youngest son goes to school, but he skips classes and sells low-quality goods. At some point, the truth comes out, the brothers have more and more disagreements and the family collapses before their eyes.

Border guard Alexander Dymov honestly performed his duty and selflessly caught criminals, but once crossed the road to the wrong people, he was planted drugs and put in prison for five years.

After being released on parole, he returns to his native village Kordonka, as he was left with nothing. His beloved did not wait for him and married his best friend, and no one will hire him in the service with a criminal record.

Everything has changed here since then, but crime has not become less. After the scandal, all the personnel were dispersed and the territory was divided between two border posts.

None of them knows the local paths used by the smugglers. Sasha decides to stop this lawlessness, as well as to find the one who set him up.

A criminal mastermind from Gelendzhik, nicknamed Kekchup, committed a sensational robbery of a jewelry factory ten years ago. He was detained, but jewels worth over a billion roubles were never found.

He was recently released from prison. Ketchup tried to get away from his pursuers and went off the highway. Witnesses to the accident pull him out of the car. Unconscious, he tells strangers about the hidden diamonds and asks them to use them for good.

At first they didn’t take his words seriously, but they soon learned who he was and decided to use the information to find the treasure.

Each of them realizes that this money can forever change life for the better and wants to be the first to get to the place, so he hinders his rivals in every possible way. The heroes do not yet know that Ketchup has survived and is also in pursuit.
