A man turns to private investigator Julia Kovalenko to quietly find his mother’s stolen precious necklace, which was taken from a shuttered nursing home.

She can’t get in without attracting attention, so she writes an ad in the newspaper and finds a suitable candidate for undercover work.

Charles is a recently retired engineering college professor. He used to lead a busy life, but after the death of his wife, he doesn’t know what to do and spends all his time alone.

His daughter is worried about him and suggests he try something new. Charles responds to Julia’s announcement and tries on the role of a secret agent. He underwent accelerated training, settled in a boarding house and began to keep an eye on everything that was going on.

Muncie Daniels has returned to television to fill in for one of the hosts of a popular show. He has proven himself well, and now he may be given his own program.

The hero rented a cabin in the woods of Pennsylvania for a few weeks, where he was going to be alone and finish the book. After a couple of days, he went to his neighbor and found his body in the sauna. Two armed bandits chased after him and he miraculously escaped.

Muncy reached the highway the next morning and went to the police for help. The scene was thoroughly cleaned up and his words were not confirmed. However, the man was missing and detectives began an investigation.

There are a lot of inconsistencies in this case. The perpetrators seem to be following him and want to finish what they started. The murdered man turned out to be a well-known nationalist and everything points to Muncie killing him himself. It is up to the journalist to find out the truth and clear his name.

Helen found herself in a difficult situation ten years ago and was looking for any job she could get. She was recruited by the spy organization Black Doves. On her first assignment, she was tasked with getting close to an ambitious politician, Welees Webb.

They married, Helen gave birth to two children and became a diligent housewife, while her husband was climbing the career ladder. Now he holds a high position in the government and knows a lot of valuable information.

Helen had been having an affair for the past couple months with a government employee from the Justice Department, Jason, who was murdered. That same morning, two other people connected to his activities were killed.

The handler gets in touch with her and informs her that the heroine may also be in danger and needs to be extremely careful not to reveal her identity. An old friend and excellent agent Sam is sent to help her. Together they intend to find out who is behind it and get rid of the threat.
