The movie is a remake of the western Kathy Elder’s Sons, released in 1965. The main roles there were played by John Wayne and Dean Martin. Also, in the picture you can notice a young Dennis Hopper.

In the modern version, the characters operate in the city of Detroit. Four brothers lose their mother and now come together for her funeral.

From the outside, it’s hard to call the boys blood relatives. Two whites and two blacks, and no one looks alike.

The fact is that Evelyn Mercer always cared about others. She has placed many homeless children in foster homes over the years. And she has only four failures. No one wanted to take in these very bad bullies. So Evelyn decided to foster them herself.

During a store robbery, a woman is killed by the robbers. Everything looks like an accident. But the brothers begin to suspect something. One thread leads them to a whole tangle of intertwined intrigue and corrupt world of this world.
